Bugatti puts its name on a Miami River tower: its first homes in the US

· Announced September 15, 2026

Bugatti, the French maker of some of the fastest cars in the world, has picked the Miami River for its first homes in the United States: a planned 60-story tower with 183 residences in Brickell.

From hypercars to a riverfront tower

Did you know? Bugatti was founded in 1909 by Ettore Bugatti, an Italian born in Milan, but in Molsheim, in the Alsace region of France, where the brand is still based today. That is why Bugatti is a French brand. Today it is part of Bugatti Rimac, owned with Porsche and the Croatian company Rimac.

The developers are Prosper Group, a real estate development firm led by CEO Jay Roberts, and Versluys Group, a Belgian developer with more than a century of history. Bugatti’s only other residential project so far is Bugatti Residences by Binghatti in Dubai.

The tower is planned on one of Brickell’s last waterfront parcels, with more than 300 feet on the Miami River and direct access to Biscayne Bay. Brandon Haw Architecture designs the building, which borrows the “C-line” from the side of Bugatti’s cars; Yabu Pushelberg designs the interiors, and Rhodium will run the residences with butler service.

This is an announcement, not a building under construction: sales are expected to launch in 2027, and no construction or completion date has been given. Reports describe it as a $650 million tower, without saying whether that is the cost or the expected sales.

Why it’s good, in plain words: a legendary car brand choosing Miami for its first homes in America puts the Miami River on the global luxury map. For Brickell, it means one more high-end project on the water, and more international buyers looking at Miami.

From our interview

Cathy Mai Phung spoke with Jay Roberts, CEO of Prosper Group, at The Real Deal Miami Forum on November 4, 2026.

“We just launched the Bugatti Residences Miami on the Miami River, on the edge of Brickell, right outside of Brickell City Center. 183 units, all facing the water. Incredible 60-story building.”
On the buyers: “They’re international, really international buyers, entrepreneurs, founders, business owners, car enthusiasts, Bugatti owners.”
On AI: “Everyone’s using technology, everyone’s using AI… We’re using it every day in our business to streamline and expedite.”
