Its own website calls it Florida’s largest open-air shopping and entertainment district.

Why it matters · Our view

Worldcenter turned one of downtown’s emptiest areas into a walkable neighborhood. Thousands of new homes plus shops and hotels change who lives downtown and what nearby buildings are worth, and the district keeps adding towers.
